FEATURED PROJECT
Dogtrot Residence
Single-family residence with a combination of wood and steel for both structural elements and cladding. The clean A-frame structure of the house and flat roof garage is clad with corrugated Cor-Ten on the exterior with Larch wood paneling on walls and soffits that provide continuity between interiors and exteriors at openings in the envelope.

Founded by Dan Matarozzi and Dan Pelsinger in 1986, Matarozzi Pelsinger Builders has evolved from a small construction company into an Employee-owned (ESOP) company. We don't just work for the same company; we own a part of it and share mutually in its success.
The ESOP is a bond that keeps us together in a dispersed workforce. It fuels teamwork and creates an atmosphere of collaboration and support. MatPel Family Members work together to get a problem solved. We look to each other for solutions that will keep the whole organization strong and healthy.
We specialize in all aspects of custom building from historical renovations, remodels, and retrofitting to unique ground-up projects. Throughout our evolution, we have maintained a standard of teamwork, warranty service, and proactive project management unmatched in the building industry.
